"Its name is Bithia. I’ve been driving through an island, down to its southernmost tip, beyond that… Africa!

Escape from the city and its insane rhythms. Once again my vw Transporter is doing its job, kilometers are rolling in. Wheels have spun over 600 kilometers and now have finally reached the endpoint of the mainland. Now, I take a breath.

The real journey starts and time begins to slow down. The wind, always present, is flowing through myself and my board is gliding farther away.

An albatross (not sure it actually is, but I like to think so) is accompanying me gliding over my head, a bunch of flying fishes has decided to travel part of the way along with me. Down there in the blue there’s more life than I imagined…

For a while I’ve lost contact with the real world. All of a sudden, Francesco, Giulio and Andrea remind me of jibing, just as well, after all Tunisia is not so far away…

The water is flowing away, the wind is pushing as this vivid light rewards me with intense images. Tomorrow the wind will blow still stronger. We are gonna wait for it. The 4,7 is ready."
