In acqua con il sup, (thanks Max) in acqua con il  windsurf con il rebosso (5 nodi in più ed era Hawaii...!!!).Fuori dall'acqua alla ricerca dello scatto perfetto perchè di giornate così ce ne sono poche. E  comunque il sud ovest era altrove. (come sempre).

ALLE VOLTE ACCADE...

Alle volte accade che il sud ovest che non entra e che porta solo onde bellissime, giri esattamente a ponente per 40 minuti dentro la baia e la condizione diventa perfettamente  side, dico perfettamente side!!!... Allora corri a lasciare il sup a riva e prendi il tuo 103 litri e le onde lunghe arrivano esattamente dove speri che arrivino...e allora speri che non finiscano mai... perche te le stai surfando tutte!!!!
Oggi è successo!!!!!!!!

Feelings of the search.
"Tempesta" is a short film representing my personal
Research of wind and waves during weather alert in west coast of Liguria of 16 december 2011.
A Look at impact of storm at Diano Marina (S.Anna), Finale ligure and beautiful "missing" beach of Varigotti and Baia dei Saraceni. On the evening the stormy winds (45/50 knots) generated a rought sea in front of Capo Noli.
Who says you don't get waves in the Med???

Il borgo di Varigotti assediato da un vento davvero violento ed impetuoso. Mai visto un fenomeno di mare grosso così potente e ahimè distruttivo in tutti questi anni. Uno spettacolo emozionante. Con il calare del sole il vento è ancora rinforzato e al largo della Baia dei saraceni il vento era sicuramente intorno ai 45 -50 nodi costante.

La baia di Diano Marina ha regalato onde perfette. Max, the local hero, è riuscito ad uscire con il wave e la 4m, uscita al limite a causa della non costanza del vento che a riva alle volte dava raffiche da nord di direzione opposta con frangenti consequenti. Gran colpo Max!

Here today gone to DIANO MARINA at Club del Mare.. Amazing nice shots camera on board. New setting (we use r3 on the go pro with a new position on the helmet) .

Diano Marina on Fire!!...

Finally a south west windy day at Diano marina (Imperia,Italy). The spot is near Molo Landini. Not extreme wind, but a great and quality direction. Some rought waves at the outside and some little regular waves in front of the pier. We have freestyle/freewave boards up to 95 litres and sails 4,7 to 6,2 overpowered.
